Book our Athens and Corinth full taxi tour and follow the steps of Apostle Paul starting from Athens and heading to Corinth. Saint Paul, an apostle and teacher of Christianity is one of the most significant religious figures of that age.
We will begin our tour by visiting a small church on the Faliron coast where Saint Paul arrived by ship from Macedonia.
We will continue our drive to the center of Athens where Paul preached both in synagogues and in the Areopagus.
You will also have a unique chance to visit a variety of magnificent monuments in Athens such as the Acropolis, the “Mars Hill”, the Temple of Zeus, Hadrian’s Arch, the Panathenaic Stadium (also known as Kallimarmaro, meaning beautiful marble) and the Ancient Agora, a meeting point for St. Paul and his first christian followers.
We’ll drive through the Greek Parliament where we can stop so you can watch the Change of Guards. Zappeion, a neo-classical building is also located in a short distance. An alternative choice is visiting an exquisite neo-classical buildings trilogy: the National University of Athens, the National Library of Greece and the Academy of Athens.
Time to continue following Saint Paul’s steps on to Corinth. We will continue our pleasant drive along the Saronnic Bay and head to the Corinth Canal. Ancient Corinth where the Apostle stayed for almost two years will be our next stop.
The Temple of Apollo lies the higher part of the city offering exquisite and breathtaking views.
After our visit to the ancient city you are free to select a restaurant or traditional taverna for enjoying your lunch and rest.
When you are ready I will safely return you to your desired destination.
